Aveva (Wonderware) Engineer

NOT an Aveva (Wonderware) Engineer

At Yitch you don’t just start working as an Aveva (Wonderware) Engineer, but you help build the factories of the future. After all, it’s not about software and code, but about supporting companies to digitize their production as efficiently as possible.

NOT an automation company?

We don’t just do our job. We are committed every day to keeping production local by focusing on its automation and digitization. In this way we maintain local employment and contribute to local quality of life, today and in the future.

What will you be working on?

  • You participate from start to finish on setting up Manufacturing Operations Management systems (WMS, MES, OEE, …). You focus on Aveva (formerly Wonderware) implementations. If you wish, you can also work with other technologies.
  • You monitor the quality of our Aveva (Wonderware) projects by guiding (junior) colleagues in these projects and by checking the quality of the concepts and developments.
  • You design technical concepts and software solutions based on functional needs and analyses.
  • You develop applications and interfaces, in different frameworks (C#.Net, ASP.Net, VB.Net, SQL Server, Web Apps, services...) and databases (SQL).
  • You configure and test software, wearables and peripheral equipment (cameras, scanners, ...).
  • You support users with testing and starting-up in the factory.
  • You are responsible for the maintenance, monitoring, troubleshooting and expansion of existing applications.

What does our ‘ideal’ candidate look like?

  • Master in a technical direction (computer science, electronics-ICT, industrial automation, …)
  • Experience with Aveva (formerly Wonderware) implementations
  • Solid basis of one or more frameworks or software packages (C#.Net, SQL, ASP.Net, ...)
  • You like the variety between programming, configuration and customer contact
  • A strong affinity with and interest in production environments
  • A self-starter with strong analytical skills, who loves a challenge
  • Strong communication skills in Dutch and English
  • Driven and enthusiastic; you like to take initiative

Do you not see yourself as an ideal candidate? Good news; an ideal candidate doesn’t exist! We absolutely believe in talent development. The connection with the company, your drive and growth potential are therefore more important than your experience.

What do we offer you?

We are a close group of energetic and positive colleagues who go for it together, both on and off the job. The unforgettable weekends, exciting after work events, sporting challenges, … You feel it every time.

You will end up in a growing and learning organization that doesn’t believe in hierarchy, but focuses on the power of talent, involvement and initiative. You get responsibility, freedom and support through on-the-job coaching, training and knowledge-sharing.

We provide a flexible schedule with extensive options for working from the home office, 32 leave days and an extensive flexible package of fringe benefits (electric or hybrid car, hospitalisation insurance, budget in our home working webshop, …).

And last but not least, you are more than an employee. You help companies to keep their production local. In this way you keep consumption and production together and you contribute to local employment. Now and in the future!
